About FITME
FITME is independently built and maintained by Changyong Lee, a solo founder based in South Korea. This site combines a free browser-based body proportion calculator with original articles on clothing fit — written from my own measuring and shopping experience, not scraped or auto-generated filler.
Why I built FITME
I struggled to find clothes that matched my proportions. Standard S/M/L labels ignored my torso-to-leg ratio and shoulder width. I am 175 cm (5′9″), 78 kg, usually shop 2XL oversize, and wear about a 32 inch waist in jeans — yet hips could fit while the waist gaped, or tops hung wrong on my shoulders. Returns taught me that size tags and body ratios are different problems.
I started measuring with hand span, shoulder width, and leg segments, then turned those numbers into WHR and balance scores. FITME is the tool and blog I wished existed when shopping online. I reference public fit frameworks such as body-type styling and ISO garment sizing where helpful, but every guide adds my own examples and limits.
